Not all players are used with rush and I've several time seen people activating the lifter despite not everyone is here. And the people who are left behind are blocked by the cinematic. That makes they most of time can only come back when starts the fight against Nero.

It's also possible they forget the Magitek key. If they not bother elsewhere, fair does, prolly a leech, but forgetting the Magitek key can mean everybody else gets a massive head start, even to the point you are actually better off waiting to be pulled into the next fight.

I did that recently and ended up like waaaaay behind. There was another guy with me who did the same. If you're just following the rhythm without thought, it's easy to forget. Most of the time I don't, but it only takes a brain fart. Stuff dies so quickly people have raced ahead and you're at the Nero fight before you've even moved out of the first area on the mount

I was in a group last night and frankly we were all trolling around, some of us /playdead during Ultima Weapon lmao. It is sad that the once hardest instances at the time have been reduced to this :P.

I didn't get why everyone hopped out of the mounts before the big door though..I guess I know why now.
We used to troll around when we did roulettes as a group, though we skip MSQ roulette now because some of us don't like how long it takes.

we let our WHM tank ultima weapon and sometimes fight for hate with the tank with the amount of aggro a Whm could pull through overhealing. Sometimes just remove all of our gear and fight naked. We also ignore the adds for Ultima Weapon and then you get a rave party.

Obviously all with consenting people, we not too mean.

half an hour of forced cut scenes, praetorium or castrum "roulette" but yea, leeching is the real demon here.

The problem is they’re forcing us to sit thru long and boring cutscenes which make it easier for people to lose track of time or worse. Having said that I want to apologize to anyone that’s been in a party with me where I’ve fallen asleep during it. I would have no issue being vote kicked for it

Oh no they were going on about how you don’t need that many people on magitek mounts so it’s okay to let everyone do it for them while they wait around and it’s “not a big deal” according to them

Leeching isn't tolerated if I am in the party. I will boot anyone that is afk. If I have to go through it then you do too.

No they aren’t forced to sit through cut scenes because they aren’t forced to do the roulette, it used to give a lot less exp before the cut scenes became unskipable

If I have to get on a Magitek mount and clear the way so should everyone else. Why are some players allowed to leach off of other people? One person even threatened to report me for bringing this up at all. I don't get it.
Usually people DO try to initiate vote kicks but there's very little downtime and you're always in combat or being targeted by something. Fortunately though, from my experience, parties are getting a LOT better about this and kicks are happening much more frequently.

    Sure, ok...

You just invalidated your own reasoning.

You know what you get, and still queue for it and... get annoyed for what you queued for. And then you think this makes it fine for leeching? You get that fat junk of EXP for extremely easy fights (and cutscenes, so much idleness!) for a reason.

If I had to draw your train of thoughts onto a flipchart, it would look like when you lose in SNAKE - the start of your argumentation and the end of it meet - Game Over.

I am on my tablet so I don't have my "What.png" ready. I have it on imgur.
Usually, you get a treat for doing the dirty jobs. Here you want the treat (EXP) for free.
