I was very clear in my explanation. The use of general reference in lieu of having to fish for the names of every single person who fits the description is simply an act of practicality and fairness. If you know it describes what you are doing, then indeed you are one of those people.

This was already attempted during the last Q&A. Apparently it was the highest Upvoted question, and it was overlooked. :/

Unfortunately, there's nothing much else to say on it and we might not get anything for a long time.
They've stated that adding the other genders were on the back of their mind
and not going to implemented in the immediate future. I want more options just as much
as the next person but how they released these 2 races are almost an embarrassment.

So in my opinion in this entire thing is: It's just a really bad release all together.
We're sitting here with 2 bare to the bones races, that someone over there thought it was a good idea
to tie the boys face to their manes and then the girls have clipping ear issues and barely can wear any headgear on both
and barely any hair options on both. While I want the other genders to show up, I'm scared to see the same issues
we're facing now. I also want them to focus on the current races, even the older ones. The original races need some love as well.
With all that said, I even think if they released both F/M Viera at once or M/F Ronso at once, we would probably got the same results.
They were rushed out the gate so poorly I'm still shocked at the Krile hat thing.
I'm almost to the point where they probably should have waited to release any of this.

So if they had to pick these to work on first which one would you want?
1. Add on to the newer races.
2. Add opposite genders with possibly the same issues.
3. Add to older races.
- If we picked 1, then people will be upset that they're fixing onto the current ones but what about the other genders?
- If we picked 2 for them, then we may very well see the same things now and people will be upset.
- If we picked 3, older races get love, but what about the new and the other genders?
Everyone wants something but they can't do it all, the manpower just isn't there from what we can see.

IIrc they had already said it was taxing them to even release these two and look what we got lol.
Hopefully they can get a lot of stuff going this expansion so we can possibly see the others in the next
but I'll be quite surprise if we them them in 6.0.

I'd pick #2 personally. It would give me a feeling of reassurance that we're getting male viera at all. New hairstyles and head items for viera will come in time as promised. Hrothgar got a bad deal with the hair and face being locked, but the devs say they're working on it so let's wait and see what they come up with.

Oh okay, I didn't know about their faces being fixed so that's good news. Thank you for informing me.
I do wonder about the Viera hairstyles though. If they're struggling to put hair on models now
then I hate to see the males suffer the same fate. I actually just feel bad for everyone who was
excited because no one likes this "Korean genderlock" nonsense, and with them having unlocking
Miqote for example with males in 2.0, you just wonder why they had took a step back here in 5.0.
I think they should have just released Viera now, both sides, and Ronso later...and after that no more races
and just expand with what we got. I hope they stop tbh because look at what we're dealing with.
It's nightmare lol!

But I get they tried to please both sides of the spectrum, people really wanted Viera and they really wanted
a more beastly race...it just didn't turn out so well. I still support though!

Also I agree with above. It would have made more sense to release Viera this expansion and saved Hrothgar/Gunbreaker for when we actually go to Garlemald. You could replace every Hrothgar npc in Shadowbringers with a Roegadyn and there'd be no difference storywise. They're literally just thrown in there.

Yeah I totally get the complaints about the lack of hairstyles and headpieces. Someone here claimed that in one of the interviews they read, hrothgar would be getting more hair/face options. Honestly, I suspect this just means they will use the same faces, but have different hairstyles. We'll see.

My opinion on the lack of hairstyle and headpiece options for viera is that it's a bit unfortunate, but I know these things will be added slowly over time. I'm glad viera came out, even in its current state, because it's comforting to know a race I've been wanting to play as for so long is finally playable. I would feel the same way about male viera - even if it kind of came out with barely any hairstyles and whatnot at first. I have faith the devs won't leave their hair or headpiece options barren forever.
