Yes I do. Because there simply isn't enough Housing for the large playerbase. Plus I think they already had plans for Shiro housing.

The housing issue was talked about for years (and its still a problem with a growing playerbase but not enough housing) and we already had a few releases where people simply could not get houses and who complained. But I have in all the time never have seen such a rage on this site or even other sites when Shirogane savage happened. They always talked about not being able to give us much more but after THAT complaining and the bad press they suddenly were able to double the wards in all housing districts. That would have never happened without people being at the tipping point with that. Yet even now we still have that topic come up.

The bunny outfit was released years ago and people constantly remained them about it. It was only for that reason we even got the version we now have ingame. The same with the carbuncles. They fall in the category of egi glamour, a topic that constantly pops up in the general forum and even now we sometimes have threads asking where the rest is. They also asked about this in liveletters a lot and imo this the only reason we even got carbuncles.

Why is housing a real issue but gender locks seemingly not? Gender locks are an issue and people are not able to play the gender they want for something that even exists ingame even if its not shown. We dont know if they need constant reminders or not, maybe they dont care or maybe they do care and are hoping that we continue with it so that they can show the higher ups that there is a demand thus the money needed for it would be well used.

Sadly today a lot of stuff is only changed if the customers keep up with it. A small time of complaints and nothing more? Well people dont want it and it costs money so we dont do it. People in some ways constantly talking about it and keeping it up? That should at least show that there is some kind of demand. Also if new players visit the forum they will see the thread right away and can leave a like on the first post which is probably the biggest thing of showing demand too. (Probably the highest liked thread in the whole history of FF14 forum)

And honestly how are we nagging them? Most of the discussion in this thread is about the viera themselves. And if asking about this in the liveletters that are happening every months is nagging well then anything can count as that.

The last point was also not 100% only towards you. There have been people complaining that this thread still exists and that people talk in circles in it. And thus my answer: Who cares if they do? Nobody is forced to read it and if enough are there to still talk (in circles) then that should be fine.

Genderlocked races don't actually effect a game. Peoples Hatred of Female Only/Male Only is the issue. Not being able to deal with it is the issue. The people, not the Game.

No it does not effect your gameplay, it does it for others. Race is important otherwise we all could just have one race and be done with it.

Heck soon another Asia MMO will be released and it has genderlocked jobs in the original version in it. The publisher already made sure to say that this wont be in the western release and you can play the job with every gender you want because they know that genderlocks are not that acceptable in our part of the world. So if gender locks dont effect games, why are they doing the extra work? Maybe they have better numbers on how people want a game.
