The state of healers is affecting everyone

While I definitely miss my second DoT, lets be honest here: pressing 3 instead of 1 every 15s does not make for an engaging DPS activity either.
Healer DPS always was rather braindead, with the exception of Scholar. He got all the fun toys in that department.

Two DoTs, a seperate weave/move DoT, an oGCD that was melee range, an oGCD AoE plus heal, and the nuke in HW was better than WHM has now even accounting afflatus skills.

If we had something that involved plus lillies I'd be happier. If we had that and an expansion to the lily system, I'd be ecstatic. Hell, just the more involved lily system as a reward for good play/downtime enhancer could be enough.

Every non healing GCD that isn't 1 button hero, the better.

EDIT: Every bit of additional responsibility, the better. Aggro management, gone. A bunch of support skills across all jobs, gone. Meaningful crowd control, essentially gone since ARR with the occasional cameo. I go back to some older MMO's (or old footage, since many of them are gone), and I see my character heal, DPS, CC, support buff/debuff, manage aggro, and handle coordination/positioning mechanics all in the same fight.

Sure, the mechanics were never as involved as in FF14, which is FF14's big draw, but there's only so far you can push "have people move and stand in the right places" as a metric of challenge. And that's not even getting into how braindead and devoid of engagement 95% of the content in this game is in the way most people play it (not min ilvl, unsync'ing old endgame content, every dungeon evoking the feel of FF13's "The Tube" etc.). When whether I put in 10% or 100% into a piece a content matters not to my success or failure, it makes me wonder "why am I even playing this?"
