  • They don't like the game at this state (which means they might come back at 1.21, 1.22, 1.23 or 2.0);
  • They don't feel like paying for an incompleted game;
  • They can't pay for it because of money issue;
  • They can't pay for it because of the payment systems.
Now tell me that you know about the whole situation, and if you do, bring in actual statistics about people leaving and why. Only then you can be credible.
At least Kai is saying what's happening inside the game, which you can't see because you don't want to pay/play. She has valid points to talk about and prove. You're basing your facts with assumptions, and these assumptions at each phase of the game (temporal line, or more detalied: patches) can be wrong in a high scale of risk.

Sorry if I say this, but it starts to spin my balls badly when somebody says something without actually proving it (in your case the fact that people are leaving the game). That only leads to miscommunication and people would live in ignorance.
no. see this is where you are completely wrong. i am not saying any one particular reason is why the population is still in decline. what i am saying and i already did is that "yes, some new players are coming into the game, but more are leaving then coming in"

that is not opinion. the population still going down is a fact.

the person they quoted did not say there was no new blood at all. they stated and i quote
"And as I said before, Yoshida's efforts have not maintained the playerbase, much less garnered any new blood to speak of"

neither of those are wrong. we do have new players coming in, but since the population overall is still in decline it's not maintaining. it doesn't matter the reason that those people are gone. the point is at the end of the day there's less players today than we had before payments began so the population is not maintaining it is still in decline.

"which you can't see because you don't want to pay/play" <<---- just so i can clear this up and keep you from looking foolish. i do play daily and i am paying.

before payment the population on karnak before payment began was around 200-250 on north american prime times. now the population is around 110-150. what other proof do you need that the population is going down still? yes, there are some new players that are getting the game and playing it, but there is a higher number of people leaving the game than coming into the game.
