Isn’t there a setting to avoid in progress runs? I am pretty sure I have that set. I haven’t been put into an in progress run since 2.0.

Hey, did you know that the sneks in Bismark do frontal cleaves for their tank buster? Most don't, which is a credit to all the tanks you've had before who are sensible enough to turn the adds away from the party. Not my cotank though.

Today I went leveling my lowest level job, which was DRK at level 45 at that moment. Now, tank-gear below level 50 is sometimes special. There is gear like the "High Mythril Flanchard" I was wearing. This gear is basically two for one, as it covers legs and feet. It brings huge bonuses with it but at the price that it also means you cannot equip gear to feet. Also there are two major drawbacks:
1. you cannot glamour shoes/boots because you don't wear anything on your feet (because you can't)
2. if someone looks you up it looks like you don't wear anything on your feet (because you can't)
So I loaded into my dungeon, put tank stance on and made the first pull when the healer just stopped healing me. Instead he called me out for not wearing shoes and continued doing so until I died, telling me to put some shoes on. I was rezzed by one of the DDs but died again. Then the healer asked me if I don't know that shoes add bonuses to attributes and add defense, until I could explained it to him, telling him to check the legs.
To his rehabilitation: he then apologized, the gear itself actually IS weird and the rest of the dungeon was smooth sailing as the heals were now coming on time.

Not exactly Duty Finder, but I think I need a break from running squadrons, or their AI needs to be seriously tuned to be much better than it currently is.
Been leveling my dps through the vault (because dps queue times pre-61 are still atrocious) and almost every time on the first hallway second trash set or third trash set my tank will never pull off the mobs that aggroed me and, instead of getting healing, my healer will instead focus on either curing the tank or dpsing for some stupid reason. She also seems to be highly allergic to casting Medica II during the more crucial moments. No, instead the system wants me to run around like a headless chicken with the mobs or hope and pray I don't die before the tank decides to slowly target and get the mob's attention.
It's like pugs, only worse. I've lost count as to how many times my nin, mnk, and brd have played the loldrg role, and got to the point where I was angrily emoting at them and yelling at them in my fc chat.
SE pls
This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.

I've stopped using Squadron because some of these dungeons are just ridiculous. I don't remember which one is the dungeon with the Mamool Ja and the totems, but it clearly wasn't playtested with Squadrons.

It's extremely useful in extremely rare cases. Recently I rescued a tank in Wanderer's Palace (Hard) who wanted to tank all the mobs inside the buffed area set up by the totems. I put down a raid marker outside the buffed ground, waited for 2 GCDs to see if the tank moves, then Rescued the tank. At first the tank immediately went back towards the buffed ground, but then he came to his senses and did a 180 towards my raid marker. That was when I had to commend myself quietly on having it on my hotbar.

That would be Wanderer's Palace hard mode, and I refuse to do that one in a squad as a dps, since more than likely they weren't coded to understand doom on your commander = you need to heal this asap. The totem part is relatively easy enough, though you're going to be eating totems quite a bit to find the damage up one.

You don't pay your squadron's paycheck
I think?
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

I had more trouble with the last boss than the totem guy, even if totem guy was fairly annoying. That would be Wanderer's Palace hard mode, and I refuse to do that one in a squad as a dps, since more than likely they weren't coded to understand doom on your commander = you need to heal this asap. That said, the party stopping to attack every damage up thing in the hallways was pretty frustrating, too.
