This is off topic but I have to ask, why do you guys flaunt the number of plots you have with these posts? Im genuinely curiousThe houses that can be considered as grandfathered since 4.2, minus the first two weeks, are personal houses. As of today, the only thing that restricts the amount of FC houses a player can purchase is the amount of characters on a single service account (despite what the housing guide tells you).
These houses bring in well over 200m per week with very minimal effort. Mostly through workshops yes, but they also allow us to farm a ridiculous amount of shards through gardening and being able to prime over 50 tier 3 FC buffs per week, which is also a major benefit when 99% of the FCs out there can only get 2-3 per week at most.
Flaunt? The picture is pretty cramped for the amount of information it contains and there's no additional text with 4 different fonts and 3 different colors to it. You want a good example to describe the word you chose, go look at post #10. That's textbook flaunting right there... even though it is really poorly made.
We're just here to hand out facts when people are misguided or delusional. It is quite time saving when you don't need to provide background as to why you have a better grip regarding housing than your average midlander.

It still says "look we own this many plots" without actually saying it in text. I didnt ask about post 10. I asked about you. But what would you call it if not flaunting? I mean...why is it there other than to say what I previously stated above? Again just curiousFlaunt? Re-read the second part.It still says "look we own this many plots" without actually saying it in text. I didnt ask about post 10. I asked about you. But what would you call it if not flaunting? I mean...why is it there other than to say what I previously stated above? Again just curious

They cannot answer honestly without raising the ire of anyone and everyone who reads it, and thus silence and misdirection are the only option. It still says "look we own this many plots" without actually saying it in text. The temp restriction limited purchasing not ownership. If the FC has been open that long, likely the player is using it to run a workshop since that requires a FC house.
Why does SE allow it? Because they don't have the manpower to police every single FC and its activity. Creating more restrictions could mess up legitimate FCs more than it obstructs individual players exploiting the system. That's probably why they aren't enforcing the 1 FC house per world per account limitation that's still listed on the Lodestone.
It's yet another reason for a better instanced housing system. Those abusing the system wouldn't prevent other players who want a house from getting one like is currently happening with the ward system.
If you had lets say 2 characters on the same world. Character A with FC and house Character B with FC no house. Character B would not be able to buy a house for their FC. To purchase a house for character B's FC: someone not in the position of the player who owns A and B would have to purchase it. FC houses are owned by the FC not the purchaser which makes stopping people from owning more then one difficult. There are ways you could do it but that would harm FC's and punish their members for the actions of one.
I am fully against players abusing the FC system as way to own multiple homes. FC houses are for FC's not people who want a personal house.

Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!

It was designed for this exact reason.Flaunt? Originally it was to be animated too, but that was too much lol

What if they added in a tax system for housing? If you don't pay your taxes multiple times, you can lose your house?
