If I had to guess, the TC might've been acting a bit...hostile towards the person they kicked before the kick actually took place.

People are almost guaranteed to be salty if you kick them from Novice Network so the last thing you want to do is give them a valid reason to report you.

Maybe there is, but it's irrelevant as far as the original post is concerned; according to him, his sentence of 10 days was already served and he's still there. Whether or not his ban is justified is kind of irrelevant to that.

Someone suggested staying logged in until a gm notices, and I guess that's all you can do.

I'd think filing an inquiry might help with getting the matter resolved quicker.

It's honestly silly that they don't just keep a list of people who are suspended and move them out of the jail the instant their time is up...unless that's literally impossible while they're logged off.

I've never even heard of someone getting punished for kicking people from NN and I've seen a ton of ridiculously bad kicks. SE won't even take a report on them unless you're the person who gets kicked.

i was banned for 10 days............ for kicking a known spammer for spamming from the novice network. come back after my ban has ended... and im left in GM jail with no one here.... how do i get out of here.. help please?

What? I really, really doubt it. Knowing anything more about the incident doesn't change that the ban was 10 days, and they were still locked out. You don't even need to know that he was banned because of anything to do with novice network. Nothing in the ToS covers "Well if you kicked someone from the novice network and were a big jerk about it, when the GM says you're banned for 10 days you're actually banned for 11 unless you rub your tummy and pat your head while begging GMs to let you out of gaol on day 10."

This might be one of those times where the ban doesn't start until the day AFTER the player is informed.

I mean, if you get told at 23:45 on a Monday that you're suspended for 3 days, that suspension will not count thr next 15 minutes as "a day".
