I’ve seen plenty of videos, read guides and looked into it before discarding it. The one thing that is most crucial and absolutely necessary to learn is how to use your toolkit to deal with wall to wall pulls. Not sure what there is left to learn that you shouldn’t already know by lvl 70. Trusts do nothing for you here, if anything the one thing I’ve heard repeatedly is hat trusts are great if you’re semi-afk and can’t fully focus during your play session. So back to the point, doesn’t do a great job of teaching you how to play your tank/healer properly.

    Yeah that’s fair.

You can pull wall to wall on a tank if you want to and the Trust healer will keep you alive assuming you are rotating cooldowns correctly, it helped me learn how to do it with Gunbreaker and I actually feel more comfortable playing Gunbreaker in groups now. Sure its slower but you'll have no problems learning how to tank in there.

Then I may be mistaken for tanks, I just read a lot of horror stories from people who didn’t have as easy a time as you did so assumed it was a general trend.

Probably in part they were doing the first dungeon where everyone was using old gear. Once people geared up a bit the wall to wall pulls came back in force. So first dungeon + not great gear on tank + AI trust that doesn't AoE =

Have decent gear and they'll heal you pretty well too.

Still it'll take forever but that's the balance I suppose for unlimited current tier leveling dungeon AI feature. I'll love them to death once they can go faster though, hopefully at some point.
