I'd like to see more Allagan-themed items, especially interior (walls and floor) decor. Not sure how external would work; but if I could do up my house with all Allagan/Omega-ish stuff I'd be all over it.![]()

I'm not sure if this has been addressed, but I'd like to suggest one of two options:
1.) Open the armoire chest to allow us to put more glamour items in it [ like higher leveled relic-gear and mog station outfits ] without also destroying customization options on the clothing. Some of my glamour items I refuse to put in the armoire because I use expensive dyes that are just going to get removed the moment it goes in there and I'll have to re-dye it again.
or
2.) Release a specific wardrobe that allows us to store any type of gear in there, be it crafted gear or mog station gear.
I have many glamour items (both crafted and bought on the mog station) that I unfortunately have to throw on my retainer because I lack the armory space and actual space in my inventory and chocobo saddlebag because I'm a crafter. So I'm already managing my space as best I can with mats I need.
Even giving the option of taking wardrobes already in game like the manor wardrobe or free company ones the option to store glamour items and letting us store in there would be nice.
Also, just asking if we can also get more loft furniture like tables, couches, and beds without needing to glitch for some of us who struggle with it. It would help many people who have small spaces like fc rooms and apartments and not a personal house.
Visit an inn and use the glamour dresser. That's exactly what it is.2.) Release a specific wardrobe that allows us to store any type of gear in there, be it crafted gear or mog station gear.

Idk if someone has requested these before but I'd like to see interactive books and notes as furniture, kind of like the ones they put around in dungeons but better. People can write things down on it, they come a lot of pages to write on with hopefully a hefty character limit (limitless if possible, otherwise a thousand words limit) in each page. I'd like to see it come with a few permissions options like if guests are allowed to write on it or not.
Also I really want the furnishing in the Fortemps Manor or at least something similar, especially the couch.
Maybe just dreaming, but -- what if a retainer in the yard had the option to be paid (maybe in ventures?) to tend the garden for you? Especially if you could stack it up -- pay up to, say, three ventures at once to have the garden watered for three days in a row. Maybe even one venture per plot (so to have a mansion's three garden plots watered for three days would cost 9 ventures).
This would allow for a little extra insurance in the case of long maintenance periods or someone being away from the game for a few days due to travel and so on.
I'd be surprised if this hasn't been suggested previously as it seems like it'd be such a simple thing to implement. But it'd be so wonderful to have a plain white wallpaper that can be dyed!
Though I understand that you can simply use the white partitions as that is what i did in my house. However, it would be nice not to use up that much item space because I want a certain room to have a certain color scheme with little wallpapers to use towards that color scheme! I probably used some 10-15 item slots just so I could make one floor appear purple.
Quick little addition: There is a SURPRISING lack of purple wallpapers in FFXIV. So more purple options would be a dream come true as well![]()

On each world, why not just remove the 2 apartment buildings for each of the 18 wards on all four housing districts, and just make 1 massive apartment complex set up in well lets say Ishgard, which can be readily purchased by a player having finished all requirements for owning a house/apartment.
Apartments in this system will offer a more wide vertical and horizintal customizable apartment space having an outdoor instanced balcony (like the one in eulmore upperdeck), which follows in game time and weather, and allows large scale gardening. The apartment courtyard will be massive (Like that of the wide crystarium open space going to the crystal exarch's occular), with all sorts of npc merchants, mb, and summoning bell, as well as function areas for in game events and player sponsored events.
The housing districts and ward system can still be continued as somewhat a rare resource for those who want to compete for a plot. Hopefully housing districts will also have big improvements to its neighborhood aesthetics.
I found the mushroom houses in Pla Enni rather cute. Think those could be nice house glamours.

I'd like to see a new district with waterfront housing that doesn't have a beach. Instead, the houses open right out onto docks with boats and the like.
Will never happen, but I can dream.
