I had to check your name. I was in a party that had that almost exactly being what happened... only I wasn't able to laugh so well, and got told off for trying to teach the tank.Just got out of an extremely interesting run of Dzaemel Darkhold. This picture should highlight this pretty well:
To start off, we had a boosted paladin who was either perpetually lost, or was out to explore every single nook and cranny of the map. I mean like, this tank was literally going every direction, sometimes actually the other direction multiple times; back and forth. Wouldn't pull enemies into the crystal light either, so he died 3 times before the first boss. When we got to the first boss he wouldn't pull the boss into the crystal's light again so I just stood and emoted in the light for awhile, occasionally he would pull it in, we eventually killed it.
On the way to the second boss, of course like I said, we had Christopher Columbus as our tank, but not only that they would constantly fall off the ledge, come back up, fall off the ledge, come back up. We killed the enemies, but instead of proceeding towards the boss, the tank (our explorer) went and checked the caves up top then walked back down the ledge all the way to the bottom, went to the front and down to the cave below. Finally we got to the second boss we killed like normal.
Third boss had the usual antics, but this tank decided they would run all over the place while pulling single groups, and I mean not running to go pull more just staying and going around in circles with them, up a little ledge, down the ledge, up the ledge, down the ledge.... Anyway... our hiker gets to the last boss, the healer apparently couldn't heal it, so we wiped, eventually we also killed it. Funny thing, the healer also was wearing low level accessories, and some crafting gear.
All in all, a very hilarious run. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe for a lot of it, then I was facepalming, then I was crying. One heck of a ride. Wish I could say more of what I was thinking, either way I got another timer to add to my collection.
No idea. Don't care. They are teaching vids. Who cares who runs them as long as they are accurate.

I just accepted my fate and rolled with it. I had waited a really long time for the queue, so I wasn't leaving.![]()
Sounds about right, getting told off..
Am I the only one who hates video guides? I prefer written.

Cleared E3s two days back.
Had one death, the Dancer managed to fall off the platform during Black Smokers.
No, i don't understand how that happened either, supposedly a lag spike was involved.
At any rate, the Danger Noodle died about halfways through his enrage cast.
No loot though, as per usual
Not this crap again. Roulette bonuses exist because it is assumed that when that new player pops up you will help them by giving them tips if they ask. Not for telling them to watch a vid. The entire bonus system is built around that. And you get even bigger bonuses in MSQ because they also make you watch the loooong vids over and over. Those bonuses don't exist just because they want to reward you for speed running content you are over geared for. There's nothing "sad" about that. You aren't entitled to having someone hold your hand through everything. People need to take responsibility for their own knowledge.
Ultimately you have two options to choose from: Either go in blind and accept whatever happens, or watch a video and go in prepared. You don't get to just show up and demand someone holds your hand through everything or wastes everyone's time explaining everything for 10 minutes pre-pull. That's just rude and selfish and lazy.

I prefer either for this game because thus far both have been well written/voiced. Other games though.. I want written.
I read it. I don't agree with the tone of it though. It overshadows your intended meaning. Why would you do that? I feel like you didn't even read my post. You can go in blind for any story content you want just don't act like you're entitled to have people stand around explaining everything to you. Also the first week of any content always has different rules, you're *supposed* to do everything blind. If you're trying to get people to explain stuff to you day 1 or week 1 of new content then that's even more dumb than doing it when it's old.

Personally, I prefer written guides with visuals where needed. Makes it easier to reference them during progression compared to a video, in my opinion. Animated gifs of certain mechanics are also preferred over POV videos for me, because I feel like I get a better overall of the mechanic rather than just a limited viewpoint.

exactly. thank you.
I don't expect people to hold my hand whenever I tell them "this is my first try", in fact, I tell the party "I'll do my best". but that doesn't mean I will never make mistakes. I still get surprised sometimes with new mechanics during my first few tries. and I learn by doing things not by watching other people do it. but yeah, people don't have to be rude about it, or justify their rudeness by equating my inexperience with my lack of youtube time.
I know that feel getting no loot when you kill a boss in Eden Savage, my buddies and I got lucky and got 3 things of loot from Levi when we first killed em sucks when you're in there for hours and get nothing.Cleared E3s two days back.

Had an actual good run today where I got Sohm Al normal with a bunch of sprouts and the tank was asking about mechanics and stuff I explained em and we got to the final boss and were like "ahhh what're these green markers!?". I told em to stack em south then run back since they're meteors that come down from the sky, and we killed the boss after all of em were like wow that dungeon was amazing thanks! I left with 2 comms and was a smooth run, strangely enough they were all Lalas too bless the lil cinnamon rolls ;.;
