I know the devs are strictly against those kinds of abilities, but it was fun to have some tools that were more than just ‘direct healing’ or ‘direct damage’. I liked the idea behind the spell Stella too; the heavy effect sucked, but it was a really cool idea to have a damage ability that was weaker than the others, but came with a debuff to the enemy to compensate.

And obviously - moving back to the cards - having them all give the exact same effect just makes the feeling of ‘having nothing fun or interesting to help the party with’ feel even worse
Have yet to level Ast, but I know exactly how you feel with Virus, Miasma Heavy and Shadowflare Slow (and many others) gone from Sch/Acn. Direct healing/damage have always been there, but it sounds like both jobs used to have a lot to break up the monotony and now it's all that remains.
