This made me curious so I looked it up. The 60 day card will cost me about $30. I can buy 3 Fantasia for that price, and I already pay my sub for like 3 months at a time.
I may just go the mogstation route for my fantasia >_>
I pay 6 months, for 47.99. The time card is more expensive for me lol. 90 for the equivalent amount of game time. I can buy 5 fantasias for that.
Yeah basically. I still have one fantasia left for when I finally stop being a baby and use it again, but if I need to restock, I don't need this kind of promotion for it apparently.
Assuming no legacy discount and no mog station sales, the promotion should still save you $5.99 for 2 months of game time and 1 phial of fantasia or $15.97 for 6 months of game time and 3 phials of fantasia at the cheapest subscription tier.

Off topic, but that quote is wrong. It isn't "get your cake and eat it too" It is actually "You cannot have your cake and eat it too" which means you cannot eat your cake but still have it, you need to choose to keep your cake and not eat it, or eat it but in doing so you no longer have it.You can literally buy the 2 month card and add it to your account and just stack it. 2 months, 6 months? You're in it for 8 total anyways. Why not buy it!
Also, to be fair--you're rewarded for your loyalty by paying less per month when you buy a 6 month chunk. So there's no slap in the face. You CAN get your cake and eat it too. Just buy the game cards and add them to your account
It is used for expressing the impossibility of having something both ways, if those two ways conflict. XD
Fair enough. I was emotion when I typed my responses, lol! I usually don't get worked up much. But this guy wasn't even making a lazy man's attempt of trying to understand the system.Off topic, but that quote is wrong. I took advantage of this, added 2 months game time to my account. I had the fantasia itch, and switched my alt. Only thing I hate is the SE store. I apparently had the wrong password for my account, so it locked me out, but my actual account was my ffxiv account, and then it let me log in. I was extremely confused. In the end it worked, but it was a big runaround.

you can't be like oh I bought something and now I want something that goes with it, if it worked like that I could probably go to gamestop and be like oh I bought my ps4 pro and it didn't come with a game I should be able to get last of us 2 since you are offering it now as part of the deal.
I would get laughed at.
Not that it wouldn't be a great thing, I would of liked that also free fantasia with all my game cards I buy but oh well.
Quick question: Do they ship an actual physical gametime card, or do you get the gametime code via email? I can't find any info on that in the store.
