The difference is that the people you kill in the video game are NPCs. I promise you, if you went around killing massive amounts of people without their consent--it'd be quite a big issue. Even PvP REQUIRES consent to participate. You can't PvP without queuing up for PvP, and in a lot of games--you have to specifically flag yourself for world PvP. It's very rarely something that ever happens randomly to people who don't consent to it.

That point in my post you:re replying too was to say noone is talking about that. And they shouldn:t. Talk like that is what leads people to think video games are the cause of shootings and whatever else the news and old people want to blame them for... when it:s nothing to do with the game and everything to do with said person. If they couldn:t do it in the game where it:s 99% harmless then they would:ve done it somewhere else. That:s all I was saying.
