Do you think taking up-skirt shots of peoples characters is creepy?

I find it super creepy, myself.

It's not real, no, but it's a pattern behaviour nonetheless and that character is my expression in that context. It's still "me"; wouldn't be there if I wasn't playing it.

I don't really wear skirts in game though so I just get creepy remarks. But they're not very frequent.

Anyway, there's another thing that bother me more. Sometimes, it's the game's camera in cutscenes that's taking shots from below. It's kinda creepy but what do you expect from a Japanese studio.

I know what you're getting at but you don't customize a RC car to immerse yourself in another world for hundreds of hours where a story develops around your car and people talk to it as if it were you. It's not a very apt comparison.

This is your own view of yourself though. I find it worse to be throwing around ethnic stereotypes in relation to camera angles... They don’t customize camera shots based on your glamour so some glamours are going to create very different visuals. That camera angle is very common in cinema regardless of the ethnicity of the camera crew... It makes for a good and often dramatic view to show the figure at an angle and often magnify aubtle gestures into greater emotive impact...
- No reason to make a race based accusation over a common camera trick.
