You do realize I said vote, right. So someone could be like "vote to kick me" and people can just say no, forcing them to take the penalty by leaving or suck it up and play. No one is forcing you to let the person go. Chill out.So i get to choose if you can leave without a penalty? The answer is no. I will never let you leave without a penalty. You would have to be reportably obnoxious for me to vote you out at your request, and in that case id report you so you got the other kind of penalty. Either dont que if you arent willing to play, or eat the penalty for leaving like everyone else. The button id like is "Kick with Penalty"(something like this would obviously be used by some for grief and harassment, so youd need like a day+ outright ban for abusing it). But i know that will never be.
No no, i got that it was a vote. I was just relaying the fact that there is no circumstance where i would vote yes for that. I have never voted yes for an abandon, and actually i usually vote no on kicks(with exceptions for afk/offline players). I just feel like if you qued for content you should either stay to see it through or eat the penalty for leaving. As long as you arent leaving often, the penalty isnt even that bad. I could spend 30 mins crafting, leveling my fishing, organizing my inventory, adjusting my retainer prices, or working on a new glamour(or if its almost the end of my night, just log off a little early). Hell, i could start doing one of those things and actually spend much longer then one DF lockout before finishing.
