Vote abandon

Can the rules for vote abandon circumstances be changed? I've had 3 trials in the past week where we all had to sit out the 15 minute timer because someone's ego couldn't stand 1 wipe at 10% eg vote abandon becomes possibility if 2 people have left the group or something like that?

Yes, I know the quit has no penalty after the first person leaves, but feel like this should allow vote abandon to become open, too.

Vote abandon shouldn't even be a thing. At the point that a vote abandon should even begin to be considered, you are long past the timer where you are free to leave without penalty. Had a particularly annoying occurrence in E4 the other day where we wiped three times and had it down to 4 percent, making visible progress on each attempt. Some annoying DRG who had been whining since the first wipe started a vote abandon and it went through because people mindlessly click stuff when it pops up. Despite several members of our group being happy with the progress and being excited to get their first kill, our group was disbanded. One person should not be able to do this, ESPECIALLY when anyone is free to leave on their own at that point. Hell, if everyone else but two or three people wants to leave, those few people should be allowed to wait for more people. WoW does this right... you can be the last person in a group and still wait for more replacements, even in the 25 man raid finder.

Well perhaps players should pay attention to what they are pressing to begin with then half of the Vote Abandon or Dismiss Player votes wouldn't go though.

1) You can only leave without a penalty if someone else has left before you. As long as you have a dull party you'll get a 30minute lockout even if you leave at 85 minutes elapsed.

2) Its not one person thats able to abandon a duty by vote, it requires a majority. So your request is already fullfilled: Its not ONE person thats able to abandon the duty for everyone else.

3) You can be the last person in a 24 man raid here aswell - if everyone else left before that. I've ended up in several instances when joining in progress that only had one lonely dps left in there.

Vote abandon shouldn't even be a thing.

It serves a purpose in closing out the instance so that people don't get added in-progress. Without it, one person can keep the instance open and keep pulling people in and wasting their queue time.

You can leave after someone leave and you know that or you can just wait unitil 15 min and vote abandon.

I think that's fair and enough.I know that's the answer you don't want to hear because you already know it but telling things in forum won't help and won't change anything beleive me it never did so don't waste your time and go enjoy THE GAMe

They shouldn't even have penalties for leaving. Like get put in party with ones on your blacklist you leave and have 30 minute penalty. Been in group we vote abandon and we all got 15 minute penalty. We all hit yes it ended and we still got one.

There's no penalty for leaving an instance by voting abandon. And the penalty is always 30 minutes not 15..

The details of your story don't check out with reality.[/Q Have you been around since 2.0 started. Also tell that to my fc party was in that happened to. We all got penalty. This was back in the beginning of 2.0.
