Depends on how much they give for us to actually do by that point, in the sense of long-term goals to chase, for instance.

As things stand right now though:

With the way the game is designed probably not to be honest. Mainly because content is short lived.

I don't think you understand what maintenance mode means.

FFXI is clearly in maintenance mode, and even that game is still producing bits of endgame-tier battle content here and there. It more refers to the end of storyline/quest production, which we're obviously still not at yet.
