Good for you for taking the time to gather more information, this attitude will take you far as an FC leader. Throughout my journey on FF, I've joined 3 FCs and I've been FC-less for about 9 months now. These 3 FCs that I joined had some things in common:

    1. Medium-size FC (<30): I don't want to become "just another name" down the list, which tend to happen when the FC gets too big. I knew everyone in the FCs I was in and we were close enough to call each other by our irl names. I think this is the most important thing: sense of belonging and camaraderie.
    2. They were specific on the things they could offer: how often do you see "we have a house, helpful people, etc" when people advertise their FC? Personally I've seen plenty and never find those appealing. For example, my first FC specifically mentioned that it was a school FC; designed to help sprouts integrate into the game and we were expected to "graduate" (aka leave the FC) at one point. Establishing expectations is healthy for both sides: they would know what they're getting into by joining your FC and you don't have to be master of all trades IOT satisfy your members, constantly feeling like you have to engage and please them so they won't get bored and leave the FC. I'd say RP FC advertisements on Balmung are pretty good: they tend to be specific in their lore-building focus and that attracts like-minded individuals.

As for name, it really comes down to personal taste. Personally, I won't join FC with names like "Knights of Death" or "Dragon Warriors" but others might find them cool. Although I'm FC-less, I run a cross-world LS to keep in touch with my friends and we're technically an FC on its own minus the nametag, buff, and house. My naming taste is a bit random, but my friends seem to like it. Here are the names:

    Gault Cres
    Helden Sterben Nicht
    Éclair de Larmes
    Ding Dong Dell

usually during Christmas I change it to Operation Red Nose just for fun. I see that you're also on Balmung; it'd be interesting to see what you ended up deciding with. Who knows, perhaps I'll see your advertisement one day, haha. In any event, good luck and I hope you gained something from this.

Aww haha, thanks. Well, just send me a tell either tonight or during the weekends and I'd be happy to brainstorm FC names with you. It's always good to make new friends
