Hell yeah, I loved BA! Even if you didn’t fully clear it, you got some sweet rewards. I’m surprised more people haven’t asked for more BA like content. Of course the method of entering BA like content should be changed.I hope we get open world for at least part of it. They need to add to the relic chase with more than just mob/boss kills. I sincerely hope it's new and not just a rehash of run this old content for tomes. I also hope we get more BA type content for this xpac as well. BA was a blast which I enjoyed very much.
They could be a shish kebab for all I care, just don't put them in Eureka 2.0
Meh who am I kidding, we all know that's how gonna end it so I'll just do what I did when Eureka came: nothing.
Guess it'll be a good time to catch up some old jrpgs I left behind. At least my time will be better spent.

Whatever they do I hope they stop recycling relic names for Bard lol.
4.0 we have Failnaught. 5.0 we have Fail-not. 6.0 I guess we’ll have Fa’il Na’ught?



wouldnt surprise me in the slightest if Zetas got recycled for ShB relics
since alot of the AF gear is somewhat reminiscence of ARR af gear




I agree with with. Expansions should launch with relics to do. That way when the slow cycles hit you have something to do instead of having to wait 3-6 months to start it.I really wish expansions could launch with some Relic content... Can't say I'm a fan of this "Do a very basic Job (or I guess Role now) quest for AF + weapon" that Stormblood started... I much preferred 2.0s launch with the Relic Reborn quests for each Job, I get that was largely carried over from 1.x so less work needed to go into it, but still... It was a nice bit of lite endgame content to do after hitting the level cap, and this game honestly needs more endgame content... More variety of, at least...
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]



I hope they do a "get back to roots" thing. In ARR your relics would have multiple stages where it would change its colour, getting glow effects and losing them per stage. I actually enjoyed doing these, they felt rewarding. Also, they didnt come up with trillion different designs, which then looked like garbage. Yes, I'm talking about eureka Hydatos weapons(and the glow effect!)


I take anything as long as its absolutely unrelated in any way to Eureka 2.0/Diadem 5.0/crap-tier-content-for-braindead-goldfishreka.
I'd appreciate a bit more inspiration for the glow of the final step, SB was disapoiting on this side, every weapon got the same glow but recolor, so lame and maybe go back to the time when those weapon had lore, story, uniqueness, when they feeled "legendary" and not another upgrade step for a useless weapon filled with sorrow tempered in RNG.

I would not be surprised if they added the relic to the Ishguardian restoration there getting ready to launch. That’s probably the new Eureka. Time to level up those crafters everybody!

I can definitely see the Lionheart being a Relic for the Gunbreaker.
I also have an idea that the more we restore the Empty, that eventually we'll be able to explore that land and that will be our version of Eureka for 5.0. However, I think (I hope) SE learned from that whole fiasco and won't restrict obtaining 5.0's relic from just that. Hopefully it will be other means to get one because I just can't deal with Eureka personally.
I could also see Tempest being utilized more as well. We'll have to some kind of errands for the first's version of Geralt down there. Tempest is just way too empty for the being one of the best areas in the game. I hope SE uses it for something eventually.
Whatever thet do, I just hope they have multiple means for players to obtain a weapon and don't lock it behind a braindead, grind, zerg-fest.
