Don't expect anything beyond "restart the story with your levels/gear intact" - that's all it is in any game often enough, and all we've heard will be included here.I hope New Game+ is challenging and gives some good titles/rewards and hope that what we've learned has some grains of truth at least. It seems unclear to a lot of people (myself included) what New Game+ actually is beyond changing the MSQ flags, but I'm excited to go back through nonetheless.
It does seem to fall along this line though. Too much Light aether and you are warped into a sin eater. Too much Dark aether and you are warped into a voidsent. Some transformations are instant and only warp the soul whilst retaining most if not all physical features prior to the transformation, whilst huge bursts of aether can warp you into a more powerful version.
Rifts allow people using forbidden void magic to traverse into the Void and even summon voidsent from it. Apparently the same could be said for sin eaters if one were to open a rift into some kind of Light-filled dimension since Emet did this himself, however we only know of the Void existing as a blunder caused by the Ascians. Where sin eaters originate from is another mystery but we know that Eden is responsible for the ones on the First.
I'm still not certain that the statues inside Amdapor are golems, I think they are either voidsent that were summoned from the Void or people who were transformed by the mages and is what becomes of a voidsent when it's deprived off aether as some form of preservation.

Gaius van Baelsar: Nor is this unknown to your masters. Which prompts the question: what came first, the chicken or the egg?
I know this isn't gonna happen, but how awesome would it be if we could actually get raid equivalent gear out of it? Making a ridiculously difficult MSQ NG+ and giving it actual rewards would really incentivize to do it without harming the raiding side of the game at all. We would all still raid. The pursuit of BiS is eternal.
I would rather that the NG+ offered new glamours then raid gear. Seeing how if the NG+ just gave us quest rewards it could be used for leveling alt classes while experiencing the story again.I know this isn't gonna happen, but how awesome would it be if we could actually get raid equivalent gear out of it? ok, it's a bit of an off-shot to use Warhammer 40k (and a parody vid on top of it) as comparison, but I feel the way bestboy Magnus explains the Chaos gods and their often forgotten positive aspects here is a good analogy of the light/darkness concepts. So far we thought that light was prosperity (Tzeentch) and darkness ruin (Nurgle), but it was actually the other way around:
Light is Nurgle - stability and order, but also stagnation and decay
Darkness is Tzeentch - any form of chance, from chaotic downfall to prosperity and hope
so as the WoL we tried to maintain order and prevent chaos on the source, and as the WoD we try to kickstart change and break stagnation on the first
