Did you have a useful post? Glad your working on uping your post count. I agree it's lonely playing. Melmond went from 2 very active linkshells to well The Forsaken (pun not intended.) That's pretty much the only large active ls in Melmond. There's Radient Plume but they are selective and I don't believe they're recruiting anymore then the current 20ish members (which are all in Forsaken.)

I want free char transfer :P and why not NA/EU/JP separated servers, block servers by IP? Im EU and have nothing against NA/JP players but i would prefer to play whith people in same/near my time zone.

1. Because not everyone is on a 9-5 work/school schedule
2. Because having 8 hours a day where stuff might sell in the markets before a 16 hour dead spot really stinks.

God PLEASE NO... half of my shell is not from the US and we are a family. I would HATE if I got separated from them and I KNOW they would hate if they got separated from us.

Bad Bad BAD idea... more people would probably leave due to this than would be happy. Yeah maybe have a EU based, JP based and US based server people could choose to join, but forcing people to do it. FFXI wasn't like that in the 10 years it's been around and I doubt FFXIV will force people into that mold.

If they do I'll probably leave because I wouldn't have my 'family' to play with anymore, I like this game but being with them and doing things with them are what make this game wonderful. It’s the community that makes this game, and my LS makes this game the best game out there. <3



To the OP: I am very sorry for your server having a low population. All I can say is I hope server mergers come fast, or if you feel restarting is a good choice and you don't mind loosing what you have, go for it! I wish you the best and good luck either way!! <3

Had 202 on Bodhum just now.

You need to play the game w/ the assumption that nothing is going to happen other then 1 week of fun w/ patches until 2.0. Expecting literally ANY form of satisfaction from FF14 aside from what I just mentioned will result in utter disappointment.

There are hundreds of interesting forums, chatrooms, livestreams w/ tons of people chatting all around the clock about video games. You'd have to try really hard to feel lonely on the internet.

This is just a solution to your issue, no need to move to a diff server, because it's probably going to be the same thing wherever you go.

Get a social LS, try harder, you aren't trying hard enough, your fault for not being 50 before now on everything, why don't have you 50 linkshells, what's your problem, i have np making a PT on my server, wth you should have a pt maybe it is your fault, how is your rep on the server people hate you maybe, lol learn JP to pt with them, etc.

Be prepared, there's a high chance all of those reasons will be brought up by someone in this thread.

But, I feel you man, I'm just waiting for the merge so things get better ;_;

(this evening about 8.00 pm GMT+9 only 103 ppl online so far) ,
but if you're lonely and need some ls that's can call "lively" in this state.
You don't have to look far though.

I doubt the technology for merges exists right now for Square. I mean, they don't even have link shell commands in the game.
