Except people buying clears doesn’t negatively affect server economies, which gathering and crafting bots do negatively affect server economies. It also doesn’t affect the gameplay of others: people buying their clears doesn’t affect my clears in any way. But a bot flooding the Aethersand market and subsequently crashing it hurts any legitimate gatherer’s attempts to make money.
