I don't see attitudes that are more toxic than a Morbol's Bad Breath.

However, I don't see as much of a "hi" or "tyfp" in most dungeon or trial runs nowadays. Quite a bit of people are so silent that I don't even know if they are enjoying the game or something.

The community is just a bit more toxic only because the Savage Raids/Ex Trials is still fresh. Wait a few weeks and it will die down when the Raiders get bored and take a break xD. Remember the last 2 months before Shadowbringers? lol.

The community is the same: Unfortunately thinking a dungeon run is a chore and other players just hold them back in their awesomeness. Especially tanks are obnoxious since a couple of weeks; in one instance I even left before the last boss because of an extreme case of "I am tank, you are nothing" behaviour. Running into boss rooms when a cutscene is going on for a player, taking more mobs than he can survive despite me mashing my buttons perfectly. Then talking in some cringy basement kiddo lingo: "wtf lulz y r u nto heal?". After 2 wipes because of that I told him he is trash and left, throwing away 30 minutes of work in the roulette just to have an impact. The healer replacement got a quick bonus for only fighting the last boss, but I could not stand that anymore.

I realize myself I am often displaced. I am open, I am free to chat (in real sentences), talk about the dungeon, explain runs - but then being surrounded by snob tanks and bored speedrun DPS and people that shamelessly start the lift when one of your party members is approaching it and leave him alone on the other floor. Not only that, they run off into a undersized boss fight and then blame people. Made me walking out of the boss room as healer before it closed and watched them die while I waited for the guy coming out of the lift. Funny though, they did not kick me, but I also don't think they realized why I punished them...

What you, OP, are describing is called "Tacticool" in real life. They buy their outfits and weapons to have a facade, talking how big their guns are but never hit a target and have no clue about gun safety or "respect" for firearms.

I had a BLM with a shiny Stardust in 2015 that was the same: Such a blender paired with a big mouth and absolute no-skill.
Or my favourite story about the other RDM in "Final Steps of Faith": "I iz da best", "OMG what is dat tanking", "Healerzz?????" - died 4 times in avoidable stuff, did not Vercure himself in downtimes despite enough mana, went into melee when the boss was clearly starting to nuke the area around him. But a big mouth with cash shop clothes...

I really have not seen anything different in my time here, maybe I have just been lucky. When it comes to dungeons, grand majority of the time its a peaceful run from start to finish with no trolling unless it was between friends and in good fun. However I also don't bother to do the Extremes this expansion, just don't have the want or drive to learn it.

Reality is, Most if not all of the toxicity/Elitism in this game comes from the Current Raiding community and the ones who put Mentor Crowns on their names. Where else will you find Toxicity and Elitism in this game xD.

Except it's not. People use their anecdotes they get with toxic randoms that get carried through all the "raiding" content they do, so people like to generalize all raiders into the toxic/elitism category. You don't have to be doing end-game content to be elitist and toxic. Stop lumping everyone into the raiding community together and painting them all with the toxicity and Elitism brush. It happens in all areas of the game.
