Dismiss me as much as you want but you are the one responding like this to people with valid complains (SE agreed and is going to do something about it in the future btw).

I moved from Mateus (OP's server from profile) because of the toxicity, but from the RP community there.
Otherwise, there is new rules when it comes to kicking people from DF parties (remember, this is DF NOT PF). I'll be damnded if I can find it again. UGH. Those das where you saw and read it, then can't link it.
Anyways, I haven't run into many toxic players, thankfully.

Again we have someone complaining on the forum about "the bad community" after he had 1 "in words: one" toxic player experience.People lately has gotten worse then normal, players have become more abrasive to others (e.g. using FFlogs or ACT to harass others, false kicking of players from duty finders, and doxing other players on other public platforms) It just shows the lack of respect for other players.
I was talking to some other players I know and I got told from someone that we don't know tell me "Since I didn't clear Savage yet I am considered a trash player....I replied "I am working on clearing it" you would think that would be enough and for them to go away...nope broke out with this tirade saying "I am what makes this community and game garbage" (edited for the forum) and a few other choice words (FYI he bought his account as we found out later on. We reported and blocked him and moved on, but it's still that mentality is what is going to drag this community down even more, bad enough we have players coming from the most toxic MMO ever, don't they realize that there brand of BS isn't gonna fly here...and why don't other people tell them to stfu when they start acting like this... Just want a non trolling answer on this cause this actually made me grind my teeth a little..
I find it amusing you used the energy necessary to go back and look at threads where I posted. I must have hit a nerve I suppose. I stand by statement about ARR. I will also say right here and now it does not matter at all how many changes they make to ARR. They could change everything. I guarantee you day one people will be back to complain about it regardless.Dismiss me as much as you want but you are the one responding like this to people with valid complains (SE agreed and is going to do something about it in the future btw).

I have noticed a few things.
Different times of day have different players with different, sometimes terrible attitudes. This happens more early morning for me.
Different servers seem to have players with differing attitudes some more abrasive or poser-elitism.
Those are pretty standard to any MMO though.
Things I have noticed that are out of the ordinary are in lack of simple politeness. Most groups lately won't even bother to say Hello or Thank you. Hate to say it but that's very WoW-ish. Low level roulettes have changed heals seldom heal, tanks seldom tank, DPS just stand in everything ( these are level 80s with eden gear) It's like they are just being lazy or don't care. They never speak never commend.

I would not say community has getting any worse or better since i start playing and i am joining random groups right and left though i have never gone into savage but ofc no community is perfect and there will be some toxicity around. best thing is just not let it get to u when someone start going overboard.
The seas continue to rise while the lesser moon continues to fall, and ilm by ilm, the world becomes ever more unlike itself, without the illumination of knowledge, we but vainly flail as specters in the dark.

I've noticed this too, do you think that it's an attitude thing? I've heard before that American's are told that they can do anything where as Europeans are usually told to keep their expectations in check so if we fail at something first time, it's expected but if an American fails first time then it's got to be something holding them back.
This isn't necessarily a bad way of thinking because it means that they're more likely to get stuck in on something new but it can lead to cases where they get more easily frustrated with failure

I probably wouldn't have made a connection to WoW with that, I mean there are times I go in to duties and don't say anything (played FFXIV much longer than WoW btw) but it's not that I'm being lazy/rude etc, it's just one of those days and ideally want to keep communication to a minimum or none at all where possible. I know it's an MMO and social interaction is usually is supposed to come hand in hand, but just like in real life we can choose to pick our conversations, it's not so much a big deal if no one says anything and this is also being on an EU datacentre where the languages can often be much more diverse. Although I have experienced rudeness on NA centres before, I'm not sure I would attribute it to just WoW though...

Huh that's interesting. Because I was thinking the one thing these types of threads have in common as they are posted in the early mornings (US timezones) when NA and EU players were together.Just gonna put this out there. Most of these kind of threads and stories i see for the most part have one thing in common. The home servers from the players making the threads are majority of the time from US servers.
I rarely see any of the kind of things being mentioned these days on EU data centre be it in threads or from personal experience.Overall i think the player community as a whole has become better. You obviously will get the occasionally salty person in raid/ex's but thats normal to be honest.

MMm Not that I'm singling out WoW but I did play it for many many years and one thing I always noticed was that when you entered a dungeon everyone treated each other like they were a NPCI probably wouldn't have made a connection to WoW with that, I mean there are times I go in to duties and don't say anything (played FFXIV much longer than WoW btw) but it's not that I'm being lazy/rude etc, it's just one of those days and ideally want to keep communication to a minimum or none at all where possible. But as you say it could very well be a social thing. However speaking for myself I will at least acknowledge someone in close proximity with a nod or a " How ya doing" (look up the story of Master Pai Mei and the Shaolin monk LOL) Then again not everyone is like that.
