Please give casters battle voice

Bringing all the voice actors back probably makes this a non starter. Some of them sound like teenagers / early 20s. Ten years on they might not be able to make sounds that match anymore, if the actors can even be found. While NPC voice actors have changed during expacs, doing that for a player’s coice might really upset some people. Log in one day and you have Miqote female voice 1, log in the next and you have pre-fix Viera 7... O.o

My head canon is that the incantation for every spell is "Omelette du fromage." If they added battle grunts to change that I'd riot.

That's not even the worst of it. At least ONE voice actor is no longer with us (may Hydaelyn forever guide her soul), so that makes it even more of a non-starter.

Please gods no. I play casters because they are not noisey when fighting. I can't stand hearing "Hyah! Hyur! Ha!" every few seconds when playing other jobs. I wish I could turn battle voices off completely.

Aye, it is about the player voice actors, but Sian is who I was thinking of that was no longer with us. Just don't know if any of the player voice actors are also dead. However, Sian was a voice actor, which was what I was getting at there.

Why would they need new voice acting when they could just use the existing combat yells?

The existing sounds are more indicative of being physically hit or physically exerting oneself. I would imagine very different sounds to be made by shooting bow or casting a spell from hitting something with a sharpened stick.
