Please give casters battle voice

its so weird how they dont have one. just because theyre not doing physical stuff, doesnt mean theyre completely silent.

hell, red mage has melee combo.

also lore wise, they should be one of the talkiest ones since they need to recite spell incantation and stuff

You say that, but I have one such macro...

...I only ever use it if the healer has one of those annoying raise macros though in 4 man content, or if it is one of those "clever" raise macros. I even have some sound effects on it so everyone can hear my mighty explosions.

This, or a toggle for character voice effects, either way. I don't enjoy listening to my healer grunt forcefully like some sort of heavyweight champ every single time she casts a spell.

I thought we had that. System Config, Sound settings, Volume Settings, Voice. I keep mine turned down so I don't hear my character grunting all the time.

True, but then I'd need to turn it back up again whenever I play non-caster.

Thus, separate option for it.

I don't se how it's weird that casters don't have this? It's less a "yelling in combat" thing and more a "bard's whole schtick is singing and playing music and supporting their allies with voice and instrument on the battlefield."

We aren't just shouting at the wind because we feel like it, it's tied to what bards *do.* I mean if it'd make sense to me anyone else to have a "battle voice," I feel like it'd probably be tanks who lead the charge into battle?

I'd much rather see a *different* group buff for casters. ...other than embolden. I mean... word of power maybe? Or something.

I guess my answer is kiiinda similar anyway, though - I dunno if I'd be shouting "HUAHHH!! HAHH!!!" every time I cast a spell, but I dunno, maybe. I did really love how Aion actually had vocal incantations with a lot of spell casts, even if it did get a little annoying hearing "BIIINN GAHERAAA!!" or whatever TF it was every 2 seconds after a while.

Still don't think it's weird they don't have it, but not really opposed to it being changed either.
