Random question, not to debate or anything but something that crossed my mind
Typically people can get used to the presence of another
in this case what I have in mind is
There are people who are looking for strictly in game romances and stuff etc etc
soo with that being said
what happens when the other person decides they want to find something proper?
Have/are any of you not looking for anything real, been with somebody in game a while and they leave for something proper?
Call it my own little study, how does that work, how does the person feel who doesn't want anything real (at all) when the person they're always with normally isn't there anymore?

Educate me ^^, I'm not here to ridicule or make an example of anybody for their preferences

For me personally I am the not looking for a RL relationships, friends ya ill bite but getting into this isn't with a hope of omg I will meet a RL GF. I personally feel if you go into something like this with your end game being RL it almost feel forced if down the road whatever you have the connection and it comes naturally then sure. Someday ill actually make a post but to back to your question I would say maybe I am jaded at the whole looking for RL. I have in the past been on both sides of the coin its rough both ways. I like the online fantasy a bit and as with someone like me even if strictly online oe game whatever I am flirt and nice and sweet charming etc as its my general personality just being displayed through my char I play a male in game even though im female in RL and that the world I like to play. The biggest thing with stuff like this is both people have their intention told upfront that you are both on the same page. If your not reading the same book you are gonna be lost and it will just lead to misunderstanding which leads to drama and for me I like drama free gaming.

Oh I know what you mean all too well. "Blocked" is so easily used in game and on line. Friendships are valuable to me. I Cherish them. To them, its a passing thing. People literally think, "so many fish in the sea, I can find another". I had to keep friendzoning someone for months and I thought it was clear and straightened out. But he had big dreams. He wanted to also be my partner in everything like running the fc and stuff. No one was qualified to do that. He had some responsibilities in the fc though a partner helping me run it isn't really needed. We had the staff. Well anyways, He saw a friend of mine who also had responsibilities with in the fc emote me that "alluring" heart thing he just got, I think its a SAM class that gives it out or something, and I was blocked.Ghosted. SMH

Sometimes, someone can't help but dream big. But sometimes an officer can say something in a DM to you that makes you want to leave the FC. And maybe being afraid of having to confront said FC leader over that would make them want to, at least for a while, temporarily block them on some fronts. I could definitely see having to leave an FC that you promised you would stay and commit to being awkward and hurtful. Especially if you really did consider that FC leader a friend (despite wanting more), and really honestly did have the best of intentions.

I'm pretty sure that person hasn't blocked you forever. No one likes Ghosting. And not everyone fades away.

One time, (at band camp) I mean umm.. sometimes, people are in awe with the girls who own FCs and are very attracted to that. and those never last. Its the person that matters. not the titles..Soo many reasons and mindsets on why people do things these days. I wish I had the script in their heads before hand, At least I would know if i want to sign up for the part. giggling

I have actually had to use that block feature mostly with men as I stated in my other post chick in RL my actual preference is females however since I am not going into things looking for RL I have played a female char and did in game with males and I always upfront like look its fun and stuff online but in real your not my cup of tea but without fail within a few weeks they arE wanting special pics sending me some and im like ya no blocked. Nothing grind my gears more as well is the whole ghosting online its like are we being serious right now I am to old to play those games lol.

That makes me scratch my head as well. If I was a woman that'd probably be a red flag right there, if you want friends, gender doesn't matter as it doesn't to me.

People in this topic have all sorts of reasons, but most of them are ulterior motives and evolves to some creepy nonsense.
This is why a lot of people here just gave up or stayed away.
I mean, as long as you state what you're looking for (most of the time when people say MUST be a female/male in real life)
that's obviously them looking for more. Just say you want a girlfriend so we know what people are getting into lol.

I personally like checking this thread to see anything cute happened and both sides are happy.
I used this to make friends a while ago, to be honest.

I had something similar but admitadly I was the dick in this case (lacking self awareness, dense and dumb) Leading somebody on without realising it much >.< but it was definatly mostly me at fault, it took my partner to open my eyes a little to what I was doing.

It's a shame and just a part of personalitys we got to accept but yeah it would be great if people could be upfront and honest ^^

Maybe because... some (not all but too many) men players are damn entitled "I'm a pgm" and damn bothering to get along with because of that state of mind?

Maybe because when he's "straight"... he is straight, whatever it is IRL or in a game, even if it is just a game, a virtual world and virtual character (We... want to remain outside a certain squabble)

And some have probably some kind of hope to find more than just a IG friend.

Hum I expect a question : Why if I'm straight, I play a female miqo'te? Easy reply : because it's some eye candy : if I have to watch a character for hours, I... prefer to watch a feminine girl, than any proud arm. Is that... making sense for you?
