To be fair, plate armor is unisex because it's built to be practical and bulky (they could use more exposed skin sometimes tho), a pink, white or gold "robe" full of ribbons, frills, and occasional exposed back/boob window with matching heels is definitely not unisex. Eden is the most recent example of male healers treated like they don't exist.

This is a good point about Eden. But at the same time, there are other WHM outfits you can glam on to the current gear instead that are not heels and feminine. They aren't always. And women have the same issue, often. Finding what I consider to be elegant axes is a pain for me, for example. But some exist.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on that. I wasn't solely referring to glamour options, either, I was speaking in regards to a lot of factors and design decisions over the years as well as a dismissive attitude towards questions detailing male customisation options.

That Highlander men cannot have proper eyebrows but the women can is but one example of what I am getting at.

Historically a lot of those who say it isn't an issue gravitate towards playing female characters for the most part, too. Usually either exclusively or at least more often than they play a male character. That isn't a dig at you, specifically, but just something I've observed over the years.

Fair enough. I didn't know eyebrows are a problem for highlander males. I do know I had to add the extra eyebrows from the facial features (?) section to make my own look what I think is decent. So I can empathize, but that again is an example of a female also having the issue. But yeah, agreeing to disagree.

It doesn't help that Yoshi-P plays a female character himself and expressed joy and enthusiasm in response to a question about Y'shtola's outfit being added.

On a highly serious note, Y'shtola's outfit being added IS a huge thing to be hyped and enthusiastic about, like have you seen it? I wanted it as a glam since the first moment I saw it, it is so beautiful and definitely something I would LOVE to own IRL as well...

Just bored about the same answers we have again and again concerning "memory data restrictions". They can't just add a simple beard....come on.....

I hoped they would add options and customization for every races (now the 2 last races are available) but with this kind of answer i'm just disapointed cause a beard is just like a hairstyle, so what the trouble?

They are just lazy? SE doesn't want to invest in their game cause FF7 with its 20 dlc eats all our subs and cash shop bills?

During years we had some "ps3 limitations" for most of everything, now what? Ps4/5/10?

It definitely is a stupid thing how these guys can't do what every other MMO in existence can.

Oh, they are not. Both genders have things that don't flatter them. Lots of WHM robes on guys look ridiculous and lots of tank armor on gals look ludicrously bulky. Each gender and subrace has hairstyles to fit your look and ones you'll hate.

At least male characters don't have to run around in miniskirts showing off their underwear till at least lvl 5 when they first start the game. I'd also bring up subligers, but I think those mortify both genders equally. But there's no development bias for or against male or female character models in this game.

With the Scion's Jacket, I liked the Males Tie, and I liked their pants. But as a Female character, I have to bloody deal with wearing an ugly Ascot and a Skirt.

First off all, they ignored some of the most liked questions like missingg genders and such, but that was expected.

Literally the first thing they mention in their post.

I support the addition of male Viera as a matter of principle, but the overzealousness from some diehard supporters is starting to get tiresome. I feel like the bunny suit folks from back then were a lot more amicable and respectful in the attempt to promote their cause. I wonder if that elezen dude is still around to enjoy the fruit of his labour. The point is; this "male Viera or we riot until we get it" attitude will have the opposite effect. The devs have stated their stance on this; give it time, be patient, and keep promoting the cause the right way. This "are we there yet? are we there yet?" won't help achieve your goal.

More on topic: do we know how NG+ will work? Is this just a feature for people who wanted to re-live their FF14 experience or will it comes with great perks usually associated with NG+? Considering ARR MSQ will be trimmed in 5.3, does that mean we won't see this until then?

He was definitely tired, could see that. Maybe even stressed out some from how his neck muscles looked. I don't mind the live letter though, they answered the top rated comments that were gathered, people forgetting there are other languages in these forums too =P Let's just hope he gets some rest.

They ignored a pretty massive amount of questions directed at healers, which has the healer forums in a small uproar.
