Seems like complaining and having concerns don’t work anymore, that live letter was a joke. They only answered like 3 of the questions on the actual thread? I don’t mind waiting on male viera but it would be nice to hear anything so I know they aren’t trying to ignore it from happening.

What makes you think you are entitled to have your male viera? If the dev team doesn`t want to have a playable male Viera race it is not the complaining of militant western journalists and subscribers that will change the intended way of the game.

Male vieras are rare and they live in hidden places, makes no sense to have 200 of then in Limsa Lominsa.

Expect to have a male bunny character in the MSQ but not much more than that.

Male Miqoutes are like the majority of the daggum male characters yet they are in the light as male Viera.

I wouldn't expect anything concrete about male viera for at least two years. Whether some people with that fairy tale that it would come out in 6.0 are happy or not.

Even if they do come out, and if they do come out by 6.0 especially, expect some limited garbage. Great at a glance, but you lose large amounts of options in reality.

I switched back to a miqo'te and against my better judgement I gave SE the benefit of the doubt and switched back again to viera hoping that surely they would round them out sooner or later, but with that answer it's pretty much a never, and you'll get handful of more sooner or later. How do I even know I will like their new 'unique' hair? I know I like the ones I paid for, and earned.

The narrative of the game does not acknowledge other player characters, otherwise it would make no sense to have 200 white mages, or everyone else as the warrior of light in actuality. It would be fine.

I was quite happy with the in depth explanation on what they intend to do for the jobs that are either not in a good spot or could use some very serious tweaking. Hearing they intend on fixing Shoha for SAM was a huge weight off my shoulders, and the hint about a certain structure in a certain final zone possibly playing a certain role in the future was also welcome.

I'd say the live letter had just as many if not more good points than sour points.
