they will definetly avoid the question about Male viera and female hroth in a Q&A segment like today
but if its a face to face interview they would have no choice but to answer
it would be same answer we already have anyway

Hmm, didn't see anything in the LL about the missing genders being added in, I suppose that was to be expected though. Bit of a downer but makes sense if there's still no more information enough for them to put forward the question. I doubt they're hiding from it though - just 'nothing to update'. Least we know Hrothgar and Viera are getting more race-specific hairs!
If I missed something however feel free to correct me~
I’m not sure why it was expected that they would answer a question in today’s Live Letter that was already answered in a previous Letter from the Producer. They said if it happens it would take time. At the pace this dev team moves at and considering all of the other content they’re working on now, I don’t believe an update to what was already previously stated would have happened in the span of a couple of months.

+1
*says he didn't expect anything.*
*makes a whole forum post about it*
Riiiiiiight.
My outlook isn’t quite so grim. He’s already been hinting at 7.0 and how they already need to start work on it.This issue is what causes me to take a pause at the decision with these new races's implementation. Back in 2.x Yoshi seemed extremely liberal with use of resources in order to make this game the quality that it is currently building off of. He spent time to add full genders to races, and addressed almost every single system this game had (inventory is still a massive issue but I have blame 1.0 programming for that one).
However, this this expansion, Yoshi seems to be using resources in a very conservative manner that I've never seen him use before. I'm concerned that his attentions are being drawn elsewhere (new FF title, newer prospects within the company, new MMO, etc), and this is either his final expansion or close to it. That means we're stuck with whatever we got b/c he's moving on.
I really hope I'm wrong and I'm just reading into things... but I kind of feel like the writing is on the wall. FFXIV's days are numbered imo, and the dedication to providing fully quality content seems like it's starting to slip.
They also maintain they won’t end it until it ceases to be profitable. The company’s financials are in excellent shape and the game is performing well based on their latest financial report.
I think they’re stretched rather thin though in terms of how much they’re doing and their manpower constraints. At some point Yoshi will also need to groom someone who can take over or at least share the workload. Nonetheless I believe with the new races they have taken on too much and need to rectify the situation.
I literally said I ddint expect anything. I simply stated that overall, the lvie letter was dissapointing. I myself said that we shouldnt expect an awnser today, theyll likely save it for either interviews with big journalists, or, what I think will happen, the traielr for the next expac with the full on reveal at JP fanfestI’m not sure why it was expected that they would answer a question in today’s Live Letter that was already answered in a previous Letter from the Producer. Personally I don't think there's much to rectify. They've been transparent about the races in all matters lately. They've shared their plans to add new race specific hairstyles and (for Hrothgar) new faces. With this information in hand, it's all about being patient, in my opinion. My outlook isn’t quite so grim. I legit said that even if I didtn expect anything the news we got were downright bad. Is this so hard to understand? I feel u just use absolutely anything u can to attack me, and its old at this point. And btw, not gonna start another episode of evil zeylos season 3
I swear you try to make things all about you.
Moving forward, I think the information we got wasn't bad. Things to look forward to and things to be hopeful for were in there. Hopefully Yoshi gets some sleep.
