    Clairification: I'm in no way meaning to sound critical or judgmental of Yoshi's tone / attitude - I only meant to ask for clarification. I understand Yoshi is extremely busy, but having played this game with him since 1.xx, I'm kinda used to Yoshi's personality pattern in these live letters. Again, just wanted clarification. ^^

    Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Yoshi also seemed like he was on the offensive towards the playerbase in his answers. Regarding how difficult it is to get loot in the new content, he joked about people not be lucky enough to get drops / rolls. I don't want to directly quote, but the translation seemed pretty insensitive and like he didn't really care about player's concerns.

    Yoshi also looked extremely tired ( more so than usual), and he mentioned he lost weight from working out (it showed, he looks extremely thin). Maybe this has something to do with it?

    I don't know, the tone of this live letter seemed really off to me personally from previous installments. Previous letters seemed upbeat, fun, and playful (teasing things for future content, showing pictures, being more gracious towards the playerbase). This one seemed more defensive, standoffish, and just really flustered.

    Yoshi also mentioned how he asked us to be more polite with our feedback, so maybe that has something to do with it too. I can't say I disagree with him.

    I havent watched the Live Letter yet, but from the awnsers I've hears, it seems like they didnt even wanna do this so they took the easiest questions that nobody would egt angry if the response wasnt possitive to, and then they throwed in female viera not getting hairstyles that ppl have literally paid for as the only actually usefull and revealing question. Also, they said the new raid gear is wearable by both genders. Why is something like that even considered

    Do you really think it's written "awnsers" or are you just constantly mistyping?

    I can only read the translations and not watch the stream, but it didnt seem insensitive to me. He basically told the question asker that they might get nothing this week, but might get all the loot next week and this is this ultimately better in the long run as no loot will hit the floor any more due to being locked to role. If he thinks the playerbase is overreacting about this change, i agree with him.

    I watched the live stream and read the live translations, so for sure I could totally be misreading his tone (I also do not speak Japanese so there's a huge gap in sarcasm etc). Like I said, from the gestures it didn't seem the same as the previous live letters. However, it's good to hear other's perspective in the tone of the letter - even if it is just from the translations. Thanks for the insight ^^

    They are starting development of 6.0 this month,on top of also finishing/adjusting the 5.x patches etc and hes also responsible for another game currently in development, he definitely has his hands full at the moment.

    for once i personally didnt mind him being a bit insensitive,the LL was played out the "safe" way anyway. And they definitely will skip non polite/sarcastic "feedbacks",they arent pleasant to read nor they are obliged to answer them~
    the Q&A Thread was far from polite anyway.

    Right, I definitely agree! I didn't mean to sound like I was criticizing their tone. I was just surprised considering how conservative Yoshi is with his answers. He usually always plays aloof when it comes to something he disagrees with or dislikes.

    I know he's very busy, and like I said, I definitely don't mean to criticize. I just wanted to make sure I was reading the tone correctly.

    I mean how many times does a many have to answer the same questions over and over, the player base is very selfish and childish and I give him props for not telling people if they dont like it move on or wait till they can get to it or have no plans for it.

    I understand the frustration, but this is his job. I disagree that the playerbase is selfish and childish. People are extremely passionate about issues that seem extremely important to them. Perhaps delivery definitely should be worked on, but name calling won't help (no offense to you personally, I just see a lot of aggression on both sides).

    People have invested a lot of their personal time into this hobby. It is just a hobby in the end, but I completely understand people's concerns and disappointments. I think overall we have to remember, despite our criticisms, to be kind to one another; especially to the director / producer who looks very tired and has lost a lot of weight >.>;
