Left was me on my Crystal alt and right was a friend on Aether. Screen was taken at the same time.
Crystal doesn't do content even though they have more players.

It's like its a bad meme people believe that crystal\chaos would have no raid community
That image does not tell me when ya'll took those pics. If I felt like going back online I could take an image of the PF but that would be dumb because it's early on a Wednesday morning so people wouldn't be raiding in NA. Also, you know that the population on Crystal is much less than that on Aether. What I see here is the same number of high end raiders searching for people in 3 and 4s on both data centers. Participation seems lower in 1 and 2 but that could be due to time zone issues or if parties filled. Furthermore, a lot of raiders moved to Aether due to this weird stigma that Crystal is casual so of course they would have more parties than Crystal.
TIL fake news is fake.
By all means try this out yourself. There's a lot less people doing anything EX/Savage related at any given time. Even on FFLogs under Progress, you can see that there's even a higher participation on Aether/PrimalThat image does not tell me when ya'll took those pics. Oh btw, I got the population number from lucky bancho, so take those how you will. That image was taken around 7:00PM PST after i got fed up with trying to find weekly reclear parties for e2s on my alt.

...Of course, as I said, a lot of people moved to Aether because they foresaw Crystal as being a blight upon XIV society. Balmung and Mateus, the quarantine zones together. Gasp! RUN, RUN AWAY. It reminds me a bit of what happened to Coeurl in 2.0 going into HW. The population started dwindling because raiders didn't see a future in the server so went to "bigger and better places." It's a self-fulfilling prophecy if people believe it to be bad, they will turn it bad even if there was never anything wrong with it to begin with.By all means try this out yourself. But that hasn't been my experience. If that's your experience, well, I can't speak for you but we must be running content at different times. I don't get around to my savage runs until 10ish eastern and even then I can get a party together real quick and do the thing (because I play healer and have a healer and tank friend huehue).
There is a raiding community on Crystal. There is a raiding discord for Crystal if you can't find competent people. There are options. There is no boogeyman.
I mean I'm sure there is a raiding community. I'm strictly talking about PUGs and how at any given time, Crystal has less than half of total PFs for highend duties than Aether or Primal. Never said that the pug scene is completely dead, just relatively dead compared to Primal or Aether....Of course, as I said, a lot of people moved to Aether because they foresaw Crystal as being a blight upon XIV society. We are going in circles here. Crystal is an RP data center. It has the biggest RP servers in all of the game in one big space: Balmung and Mateus. Likewise, Aether is filled with the biggest raiding and PVP servers. It also has Greg, the reddit server, so the numbers are even more skewed. Primal is an established server that I have never been to and cannot speak of anything about it except I heard Leviathan is pretty awesome.I mean I'm sure there is a raiding community. I'm strictly talking about PUGs and how at any given time, Crystal has less than half of total PFs for highend duties than Aether or Primal. Based on this, the numbers are in fact going to be higher on Aether for high end content than Crystal. This is common sense. Higher population does not equate higher savage participation. It means more people are in one space. That's it. But that doesn't mean the raiding community "doesn't exist" which seems to be what you guys are arguing. Maybe there are not as many parties as you'd expect as a data center that houses Gilgamesh, Cactuar and Sarg but people are not left high and dry to starve for high end content on Crystal.
Quite frankly I'd be down with it if people stayed away. Ya'll can keep your login queues. Ain't nobody got time for dat.

Had my second PF clear yesterday and it was indeed a struggle.
I hate when everything goes smooth and well, no death in phase 1, adds die fast, mechanics go well, then comes the rotating orbs phase and everything goes to s###t
annnnnnnd no loot![]()

Crystal doesn't do content cause all of them LEFT. Kindof hard to do content when everyone is somewhere else due to naming and shaming crystal before it was made. I bet half of those people who left were the baddies that would've made balmung bad in the first place. Hell my aether alt has issues with people in dungeons failing the most basic things. While my Crystal main doesn't. But this is all in my limited playtime so it's not the end all be all.
And here we have an interesting hot take on the mess that is Aether. If I took this with a grain of salt, I'd say Aether was made of baddies! One experience does not dictate the experience of many, especially if we are talking about alts that you don't spend most of your time on to see the community with your own eyes.Crystal doesn't do content cause all of them LEFT.
