Pretty much this. Community is to blame, the people that had statics had a reason but everybody else leaving because fjduhdr crystal is going to be so bad. Made crystal raid scene as small as it is.
Except...they can do it. There's almost always a player or two who brings it down, though. Plenty of people out there are capable of PUGing it, just need to get 8 of them together by chance. Unfortunately, the bad players outweigh the good.
Better to fail in a PUG than actually be a member of a static. Can't imagine that level of embarrassment.

Why do people come up with arbitrary and fake complaints to fuel problems that don't exist?
I run PF parties for Aether fairly often. I helped 4 groups clear E1S last week.Except...they can do it. There's almost always a player or two who brings it down, though. Plenty of people out there are capable of PUGing it, just need to get 8 of them together by chance. Unfortunately, the bad players outweigh the good.

Party Finder players need a big attitude adjustment. You do often get those 1-2 problem players, and when you kick them, the rest of your party elects to go join one of the 10 other parties where the leader will not kick these players. I announce in my PF that I do a macro for positions, and when I throw that macro into chat and ask people to take positions around a marker, there's someone half the time who either refuses to comply or throws their hands up in the air, making the whole process unfun for the 6-7 other people involved.
Cleared it with my first grp lol it just depends on your luck I guess lol now E2s took me a couple grps but i got I re cleared lol
Sarcasm?
Well, it's all relative isn't it?
- If Aether is considered great, it means other servers are good.
- If Aether is considered good, it means other servers are ok.
- If Aerther is bad, that just means others are even worse.
Just different vocabulary. If the OP is speaking the truth (failing 40-50 attemps on a 'reclear') that's pretty extreme. I cleared both E1S and E2S last week with pugs, and in combination it still didn't come anywhere to 50 attemps for a 'first' clear, much less a 'reclear'. And today I 2 shots E1S.
And pugs, we all meme about pugs no matter which server or DC we're on. We are also pugs, and there is no telling if the people mememing is not the meme itself. Back when I was in an FC, there was 2 raid groups while other people needs to pugs. We had some member that constantly mememing about how bad pug is, and how if he has a good group he would clear no-problemnemo. So the people in the raid groups set aside a time to help people like him to get a clear (so they can then join "weekly" clear group instead of continue suffering "clear" group). And behold, it appears abundantly clear to us when we tried to help him that he IS the problem. Kinda made me feel guilty I help gave a license to a player like that to go screw with people who actually got their clear.

Dunno why everyone is doomsaying on Crystal, I don't see any shortage of parties at the times I look.
Mind you, amusing to see what I thought about Aether being overrun with people thinking they can get an easy clear is starting to coming to pass.
Well look at you! All high, mighty, and entitled. Shame on all of us for not living up to your standard, oh great one. Thank The Twelve that this forum thread now exists; that we may all be reminded when your PF expectations haven't been met.Had at least 40-50 attempts today attempting to reclear E1S. Not a super hard fight, just need to know who your partner and groups are etc. People just can't do it yall. They just can't.
It's like everyone forgot this fight or at least didn't try to rewatch the videos on it.
PF still struggles with the basic mechanics on Titania EX. I wouldn't expect too much pugging Eden Savage.
