look this is the way mentor roulette is designed. it's not designed to teach noobs it's designed to fill empty roles quicker. it's not a teaching tool.

So you're saying mentor roulette isn't for mentoring?

I'm not sure what this gripe has to do with mentor roulette or mentors specifically. You know that the other people in your parties in mentor roulette are not necessarily mentors themselves, right? How do you know the people that left that party were mentors? A lot of people will ditch one or the other because CM is shorter / Prae is more exp, for instance.

Also, as an aside, there is no realistic set of requirements they could make for mentor that I wouldn't still meet, and also would cause me to not leave CM/Prae if I got them in my mentor roulette. People who wouldn't tolerate these sorts of things before are not suddenly going to tolerate them afterward if the requirements for entry were suddenly higher. That's like saying the overall intelligence level of this forum ought to be higher than it would be on a typical free forum just because we have to pay money to be here. (Not how it works in practice, I'm afraid)
