Does Reprisal work on everything?

HOWEVER.... Because you're reprisal, a debuff on an opponent that makes them deal 5% less damage for the next attack... Then also using your own mitigation on yourself... I could still be wrong but I believe that's a slight bypass, could pop a 30% and reprisal and mitigate 35% so to speak? I'd like to believe I'm right on this but if someone could correct me, feel free.

You are wrong, sorry.

Enemy does lets say 1000 damage.

Reprisal reduces this by 5%*, so it's 1000 x 0,95 = 950

So the attack is down to 950 damage.

Now you pop 30% mitigation wich is reducing the 950 damage further, so 950 x 0,7 = 665

The attack is down to 665 damage, wich is a recution of 335 points.


However, a 35% damage reduction would be 1000 x 0,65 = 650

a reduction of 350 points.



*Actually Reprisal is a 10% reduction, not 5%. Just kept the 5% to match your eaxample.
