It does absolutely nothing to help me, but introduces more potential problems. It's a purely negative change.
Am I claiming the sky is falling? You sure do seem to enjoy finding reasons to argue with innocuous statements I make.
So, people are still demanding that S-E fix a bad decision by players (buying the game on Steam)? It won't happen. You chose to buy (or accept as a gift) the game on Steam, and when you did so, you agreed to Steam's TOS, which included making changes like this. Accept the consequences of your actions.
People are allowed to oppose something that they believe to be a poor choice, since the game has been running fine for years on Steam. It wasn't a bad decision to buy the game on Steam. The bad decision is adding an extra layer of authentication that could potentially cause more problems than it solves. But it may also change next to nothing, too. We will have to see.So, people are still demanding that S-E fix a bad decision by players (buying the game on Steam)? It won't happen. I sure wish I could go back four years and tell myself, who knew nothing about the game short of being invited to play by a few friends, not to purchase said game on a platform where this wouldn't otherwise be an issue. What a shame I'm not clairvoyant like yourself. So, people are still demanding that S-E fix a bad decision by players (buying the game on Steam)? It won't happen. "The silence is your answer."
Except that people that bought the game on Steam during ARR didn't know they were going to be locked to Steam. Square didn't implement that policy until HW released. So, people are still demanding that S-E fix a bad decision by players (buying the game on Steam)? It won't happen. Yes, let's just all accept the consequences of our actions that weren't initially known when the game released on steam. So, people are still demanding that S-E fix a bad decision by players (buying the game on Steam)?
