Maybe you're missing the point I'm trying to make? o_OI'd like you to explain to me how that sounds like Pet+Character at all... Am I missing something? Having a Wyvern following you and being able to enhance one of your skills as a buff makes him a pet? You could just as easily make a buff called something like "Dragoon's Spirit" do the same thing and it wouldn't be considered a pet...
I'm simply pushing the fact that the wyvern must be involved in everything the Dragoon does. It can't simply assist on just some of the skills via a buff with a long cooldown.
Alright, I can see where you are going with that. Though I still have no idea why my idea was considering the wyvern as a pet...
Either way, yes I would have to agree that a wyvern being part of all your skills aesthetically is pretty cool, though if you look back at older FF games it's not exactly how that worked. Wyverns and Dragoons were close for sure, but in an offensive situation the wyvern isn't used 100% of the time, it was more like 20%. This is why I thought a buff enhancing your skills once instead of the wyvern being there in every skill was more correct.
Sorry, I misunderstood your post. I see your point though. I prefer the wyvern to be out 24/7 however. That's where personal preference comes into play though ;]Alright, I can see where you are going with that. Though I still have no idea why my idea was considering the wyvern as a pet...

I don't mind either way honestly, so both ways would be fun. I'm not playing Lancer until 2.0, so as long as it's well made by then.![]()
Hopefully this idea somehow gets to Yoshi-P. I'd really love to hear his thoughts on this.
