SMN; How do poison DoTs fit the class?

Yeah, it's always been strange that the visual effect of our dots are "poison" oriented.

I'd much prefer that they be primal based, like Ifrit appearing and burning the enemy before disappearing, sort of how it appears in this artwork.

Even though I have never played XI, just looking at XI's SMN makes me so sad for what could have been in this game.

Every magic comes from Summons, as it should be. The devs could have unlimited potential to do whatever they wanted with this class, instead, they copied Warlock from WoW, lmao.
