    Don't know how the HW/SB machinist was boring for you (I can understand, that between the wildfire windows it was a bit repeatable, but I LOVED those windows) TBH, because today the job is more linear and generic by my feeling. I will still play it tho, one of my favorites, but I hope they will fix it.

    By the all Gods (if they give a fck, lol), I hope the FF14 will live forever. Please don't even think about WOW-like Calamity on the game! Just let SE give some depth and interst in the jobs. Don't ask them to make it simple, ask them to make it INTERESTING and APPROPRIATE to the job!! That's the only thing I've ever asked and the only reason I HATE the treads like this... "The DPS is to busy now, nyah!.. We have no hands nor fingers or brain to play SLOW PACED COMBAT system! Make it easyer, nyah!!...". JUST LEAVE THE GAME THEN. And let those who enjoy being busy with their jobs play them in peace!

    God i'm so angry right now... Patch doesn't fix the DRK and this tread and likes of it in whole.. Geez... Pure sodium.

    For people saying that we are here because wow prune makes me question them. The very same people who praise classic, and classic was basic rotation as I don't know what. People did not leave wow for class design no matter what you tell you. They left because of tedious boring content that felt like a mobile mmo. Want proof? The community praises the design of Demon Hunter and Warrior saying it is good class design. Yet both classes has a very small rotation and buttons to hit.


    Everyone examples are just silly and don't equal good game design. A dps class easy or hard is subjective. Some of you think tedious should give more reward. Instead how about making classes less tedious and feel rewarding.


    My point is this, you can say all you want that so and so class plays harder and deserves more dps reward. That is not good game design, and that leads to the problems with the community we have now hating on certain classes, or always crying for nerfs or buffs. "selfish" dps feeling they should be on top blah blah. One day the devs going to be removing dps buffs from groups, and it would be a good thing, but we will have a certain group of people scream out pruning blah blah.

IMPROVE, ENHANCE, not make it simple, make it INTERESTING TO PLAY, make it busy and REWARDING for your work and time you played with the job! It can't be achieved by gutting jobs and removing their personality, like they did with MCH and DRK (Yes, I think those 2 jobs lost their original feel).

    This might shock you but I counter the point.

    Classic wow had even simpler dps and two of what the community consider the most fun and best class have a small rotation. So logic does not follow, I call BS on the pruning being the reason.


    Look, I understand what you are getting at, but this is a perspective thing. I just get tired of hearing about pruning killed wow, or whatever. It gets a little old when that is subjective.
