If for some reason you're not able to handle his crass presentation, this will serve as well and still covers the same scummy business practices behind mtx.

This is what these corporations who exist to make money think of you. You are a psychological problem to solve to extract maximum money from your wallet.
I mean, I get it. But I don't really see such business practices here. We don't have loot boxes or boosters (like increased gil gain, more exp per kill, etc), which is what most of this refers to. Would I love being able to obtain everything in game? Of course. But a mount or outfit here and there isn't that big of a deal. In the mobile gaming industry, they thrive off of people who want things now, and will pay whatever they can to get them as fast as possible. That is where this issue you've brought up is the most prevalent.

    It's Just Cosmetic

We joke that glamour is the true end-game but there is some truth in it.

People want their characters to look cool/stand-out in a virtual world.

I'm ok with regional exclusives and previous event items being locked to the Mog Station but I do think in a game that you buy to play and pay to play, there should be an emphasis on earning such items through achievements in-game.

I respect your opinion and generally agree with it. But the fact remains that the cash shop exists, and they will continue to add to it as long as it remains profitable (so basically, for years and years). So...like it or not, it is here to stay. And they add way more to the game than the Mogstation with every patch. Obviously I would prefer they would add less, but so long as it does indeed remain largely cosmetic, I don't care. Businesses gonna business.

While I cannot give a specific date on when personal housing will be implemented, I can say that prices will be completely separate from free company housing, and, naturally, far more affordable.
