I have to disagree on that single point. Most of the old players are gone my Friend. The players you see now on the leaderboards are mostly those who started Season 5. Of course a FEW Like Lloyd and you are still there. But people like Twiss II, Ku Ji or Male XIII have quitted for good. You also wont find me in this soulless shell of what the call rated-pvp now. I only do some FL with my FC from time to time.

Yeah that's correct, I guess to some degree its only natural that people quit a game or take breaks aswell, as its now 4-5 years or something.
I meant it more like, over the duration they keep playing (if its 14 or 3+ seasons) they gonna end up in the upper half easily if they care a bit.
If these guys you mentioned would still play, they would probably have an easy time against top teams. But I can only imagine them falling asleep while doing so. :P
I just get the amount of fun I can get out of it atm, imo it isn't worth to be taken seriously as it is now. Shadowbringers could end up better than Stormblood yeah, that might be true and I hope so for the community, but when I look at some pve savage/ultimate fights from the past, how demanding they are in terms of mechanics and playerskill...and then look at PvP.... The one side is graduating and the other side is still playing in the sand in kindergarten. Its exaggerated, but feels like it

Thats Literaly me. Im so bored i stop after maybe 4 games even if i win every single one of them. There is no thrill anymore, no "OH CRAP" moments, nothing that pumps you up. Just Remember how difficult it was to set up the old Bard burst. You were able to kill a Healer in 3 seconds if you did it right, yet you had to know what the healer has on CD and what not, also had to watch if hes about to cuddle with a Wall to avoid your burst or has a Paladin with cover if its not on CD and so on (thats ofc only one example out of hundreds). Now keep Track of that huge amount of Skills a Healer had back then, that in itself required a LOT of awareness. Not even speaking of other dozens of factors right now but its laughable how 4.X "heroes" try to sell the current PvP as "Real" PvP
