As a SMN, I welcome you to the most hated and loved dps job of FF14. The job is really busy right now and not many people main it because of the rotation.
Every expansion see a surge of SMNs but it quickly dies off

Have you looked at logs your the fourth highest recorded logs in FFXIV currently I don’t think as many quit the job as you think.

I’ve brought this up before and the overall reply I got was “just because there’s complaints doesn’t mean we’ve quit, we simply want it put right” which is a great mentality overall, but I wouldn’t underestimate people’s persistance.
