You don't actually have 3 ranks of leadership.
You have 1. The owner.
Everyone else is equal, though divided by whatever role you wish to give them.

Just because it is like that doesn't mean it should be. The FC system is very flawed in its design if what I stated is even a possibility. No other MMO has this problem, and FFXIV beats the bejeezus out of most MMOs.

Canadane has the right of it. You literally only have the one mandatory officer position, Owner, that has access to anything and everything at any one time. No other potion you create, officer or otherwise, has to have the ability or the access to steal or misuse company resources at any one point in time. It's all about permission settings here. You can have "officer" positions but they do NOT at any time require access to things like furnishing placement, Company Chest access, etc...

You can have as many layers of management-related positions as you want in your company and not one of them has to have permissions to allow this behavior.
