Consider yourself ignored.
Wow someone who is actually a decent individual and has a great idea that's relevant to the topic. I 100% agree a portable Orchestron is a wonderful idea.
This has been suggested over and over again (thankfully without dragging the mogstation into it most of the time) and their answer is that with the current set-up its just not possible. Getting the orchestrion in the house to work like it does now (when first intoduced it only played music close to the orchestrion instead of replacing it for the whole house) was already pretty tricky, according to Soken - and they still cant assign more than one song to a mount.
...and yes, that spaghetti-code sucks and it would be lovely if they could change it. But they cant. At least not right now and at least not as easly as people seem to think.
This post, right here, Inquisitor
step 1: Turn off game music in settings
step 2: Alt tab, and open youtube
step 3: select which songs you would like to listen to on youtube. Loop one or create a playlist
step 4: tab back into the game
step 5: ???
step 6: profit
There is something similar you can do for PS4 with extra steps.
Yea that's a capital idea, not immersion breaking or slightly cumbersome in the slightest -_-step 1: Turn off game music in settings

I mean... if you wanna talk about immersion I'd like to point out again that this immersion has a lot to do with the atmosphere the devs wanted to create for certain parts fo the game, for example... lets say... a creepy fairy-king - and therefor with the music they intended to play in a specific way in a specific place.
The vocals are the immersion you get.

Because music appearing out of the aether while you travel around in a forest is very immersive. While music may help immerse you in the world of the game, arguing that where that music comes from is "immersion breaking" is silly be it youtube or the game making it magically appear is the same.

Nah you're not alone lmaoWell i must be freak because i really like the song in Rak'tika :O :O.
I'm up for that option to turn of vocals off (more Option ingame is always better) but i dont think it will ever happen. it would mean that they need of at least 3 songs per zone(that have vocals) and make it work(spaghetti code). But portable orchestrion player would be nice if the spaghetti code allow's that too
The Rak'Tika day theme is one of my favorite songs in the game now tbh
But yeah I'm pretty sure doing this would call for them making a whole other version of the song to the game. Could be nice, but I doubt it'll happen. Especially cause I don't think there's even that much zone music that has vocals to begin with... not that I noticed, at least.

Funny how opinions differ. That is easily one of my favourite tracks in the whole ShB expansionThe music in the forest area made me mute the music entirely in this game. Sounded like someone with hiccups nonstop. It got annoying really fast. I liked the Titania song though. Probably because it only lasts as long as the fight and not the many hours you spend in the zone.If you meant music in The Rak'tika Greatwoods.
