
It doesn't help that Yoshi-P said we'd visit a Viera village to learn about the Viera, and what we apparently actually got was just the Viis village. Admittedly, I love the Viis village, but it's not Viera. It's Viis. That left me feeling lied to.I think that another reason for the open naming conventions is to not make people feel forced to change the names that they've been using for 4-6 years (unlike the 2 years when the Au Ra released) and lose their "identity", so to speak.
However, it's true that the lore included is a little bit vague and underwhelming when compared with what we know about the other races.
