So are you required to sign in ever month and buy 999 crysta or does it atuomatically renew (like a CC ) ?

If you go the Crysta route and only buy 999 crysta, yeah -- If you add say 3000 crysta to your account it'll automatically take out 999 crysta every month till it can't and you have to add more as long as you made sure your payment period is every 30 days.
