People don't like being forced to buy token currency thats why.

It's kind of like the difference between XBL (points( and PSN (real money).

It reminds me of F2P MMO's where you have to do the same thing.

I wasn't forced into buying "token money", it's just another option if it's available to you -- People like options, after all.
