BLU updates?

Was just wondering if there has been anything else said about the blue mage? I couldn't find anything when I was googling it so probably not. I got it to lvl 20 something and stopped because I didn't see a point. They need to make it an actually job not a "limited" one :\

5.1 supposedly is the next blue, at least thats what they said

The next content for BLU is announced for 5.1.

The probability that BLU will every be not limited is very low. It´s the best zu just accept, that its side content and not a job.

Blue Mage isn't worth interacting with at all until they make it a full job-and that means being able to use duty finder with people on regular jobs and not just a party of blue mages.

I admit BLU is very lacklustre right now, but being a limited job doesn't need to be as dull as it is already.
It was an odd clash of design philosophy, that they were required to run dungeons and trials, when it was advertised as a solo job.

Just change the system to be primarily hunt/FATE based, buff some of the potencies, have it give some relevant rewards, and it could be some good side content. It'll never be core content though, best to accept that.

Yeah, the limited job thing makes no sense to me. What's the point of a class in an mmo that cant actively play with other people without jumping through a lot of hoops. A class made for solo content, in a genre of game meant to be played with multiple people.

Why would anyone quit just because a BlU is in the group? I'm in my 20s and do a lot of dmg already. The thousand needle skill is crazy good. I do feel like they're should be some form of requirement before BLU can join a group via duty finder. We would obviously not want a BLU that hasn't unlocked anything other than Water ??. I forget the name already but you know my point.
