I can't imagine SE doing this even if everyone unanimously agreed it was a good idea.
I'd still like to see Miqo'te be able to be taller, but that won't happen.

Let me give you a technical reason. Some mounts have fixed size regardless of the races using them (e.g. Whisper a go go and Regalia). Roe's and Hrothgar have a different sitting pose compared to a lalafell or a midlander. If the height slider was to have drastic difference, these poses will look wrong on the race. They most likely already ensure that the minimum and maximum heights will fit on these mounts without issues.I have no dog in this fight, but you guys need to come up with some new arguments.
"But the LOOOOREEEE"
This one is particularly funny to me.
"Just play another race and put Bunny ears on it!"
You heard the man, Viera was a waste of resources, we can put ears on ANY race!
Wanting to be slightly shorter =/= Wanting to be "perfect uwuwu anime waifufu uwu".
People have different aesthetics. Crazy.
Scaling the mounts would not work in the case of multi seat mounts and changing the pose of the race to another race in that height range would cause more people complaining about it.
Descending like vultures much?
everyones all "don't let the devs spend time on this, it'll take time away form what I want!"

More like they want to keep with the lore of the race, and that their height is perfectly fine to start with. I have the shortest Viera, and I wouldn't want her any shorter.

If they allow people to make shorter Viera. Can I make a Roegadyn who’s like, 5 feet tall?
No? I am just saying, aesthetically speaking, I wouldn't want Viera any shorter, using my characters height as a reference point.
I honestly think shorter Viera wouldn't look as good, they have body proportions of a taller person, especially with their long legs, they just wouldn't suit being short.
So people shouldn't prefer things you don't prefer?
EDIT
That is really a mean way to be. There is a point where they would have to stop, but I don't think they meant to make them 3 ft.

I am just stating my opinion, adding to the discussion, lol. It's called general discussion after all.
People can prefer what ever they like, but I can say whether or not I agree with it. And in this case, I disagree, and think that Viera should not be any shorter.
To me, it would be like asking for Miqo'te with no ears, tails, or unique eye types. It'll remove a key aspect of their race.

Where do you get that "everyone" is saying this? I'm literally the only one who said anything about taking the dev's time away from more important content. It has nothing to do with "what I want" and everything to do with the fact that adding in the clan is unnecessary since we already have a variety of different character heights and as I said in my post, would cause a demand for a third clan for ALL races which, again, is unnecessary and would take their time away from development time of new raids and such, aka: more important content. If they had wanted the Viera to be short they would have given the option for them to be short.
